In 2008 the Kooralbyn resort closed along with the famous Kooralbyn Mtb trails which had hosted numerous national Events and had also

been a training facility for the Australian Mtb team. With such a big history and the likes of Cadel Evans racing on the course, a resurrection was imminent.

After years of sitting idle, the tracks had disappeared and were overgrown with bush lost to memories of the past.
Years of talking of resurrecting the trails lead to a few enthusiastic local Mountain bike riders getting together and making a start finding, clearing and improving the old trails.
That lead to the creation of the Kooralbyn Valley Mountain Bike Club Inc.
Which in conjunction with The Ramada Kooralbyn Resort our goal is to create one of Australia’s Premier Mountain Biking Destinations.

What is the best way to get the photos to you? I can bring them down to you on the USB stick on Tuesday if you are at the resort.

Also, there needs to be a trail map embedded on the page which can be downloaded from trailforks – https://www.trailforks.com/region/kooralbyn-valley-mtb-park-18705/map/

The riders need to sign the waiver at the resort prior to riding the trails. We will update the current waiver.

A few other things we need to add are:
water – where they can get this from
toilets
mobile coverage
food (The Pavillion or the Resort)
parking
hours of operation
No charge to ride these tracks
